David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
West Ham David Moyes will need to work with zero transfer budget this summer knowing he will have to sell to buy to bring in new faces.

Sources close to the club have confirmed that there are no funds available due to the Hammers huge loss of income from season tickets, corporate hospitality and match income.

Limited stadium capacities will also have a dramatic financial impact on next season even if some supporters return.

Losses for this season are expected to be huge as a combination of the spending under the previous manager and director of football combined with the impact of the global pandemic.

Moyes has been authorised to sell luxury and fringe players within the current squad to fund new arrivals of a few new faces and the board are said to have high hopes for David Moyes next season.

The manager took time to find his best starting XI and put his stamp on the team, but his best is still to come.

Apparently we are the only Premier League club to be affected by the pandemic, even though we don’t own our ground and make next to nothing from sales on matchdays.

Maybe they want to under-promise and over deliver

Inevitable this.

There will be very little movement this summer. If we get two fullbacks and an additional striker, plus keep hold of who we want too, then we will have done well.

Said on the other thread, but I do not see who will be in a position to buy our high earning dross like lanzini.

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
What a load of nonsense.
Match day revenue and tickets sales account for a very small % of our turnover. Something like 12%.

It will have some impact but has very little influence on transfer budgets.

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
Goose - 12% of turnover is enough to blow our annual £20m next level shit out of the water, plus don't we have to payback part of the broadcasting deal?

I'm sure I read G&S paid £30m of their own money in - that wont come cheap!

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
This was always on the cards.

So the spending by the previous manager is partly to blame, but didn't they claw most of that back last summer.

Here's an idea Sullivan, stop the lying and fuck off.

The sooner we get these wankers out the better, absolute piss take.

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
I don’t think many teams will be spending much money. If we can somehow generate money from Anderson, Lanzini and Balbuena, then we might be able to get a few in.

I hope not.
We need ship out several players first Anderson, Lanzini, Yarmolenko perhaps but it is a buyers market and we are stuffed on wages.

C&H got this out early didn't think Sully would have told them to do this yet.

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
Soucek is the replacement for Rice. The Rice money will largely go to cover debt and loan repayment. I'd love for him to stay but realistically that is unlikely.

If we shift a few players without replacing we could seriously weaken the depth of the squad and our ability to cope with long term injuries which we always seem to get every year. We are a club that doesn't learn it's lessons.

Good work dildo boys.

So we're selling rice, not buying anyone proper and set for another relegation battle.

Yay.

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
That’s another reason why Moyes was brought in. He won’t moan and will work with next to nothing

If you want yet another clear indication of why our club will continue to struggle this is it. Worst owners in the Premiership and possibly all 4 divisions

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
Everyone is in the same situation so let’s see if it’s a problem for everyone else or as I suspect just us.

Try and get what we can for Anderson Yarmolenko and Lanzini and a couple of the others. Maybe Diop if a big bid comes in. Would love to keep Rice but we all know it’ll be him that’s going....

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
Moyes has already spent £35m on Bowen and Soucek to rocket us up the table (oh) so I am not surprised.

I thought just staying in the Premiership was worth over £100 million in Sky money alone.?Sullivan must be loving this. Even more ways to skin a turd.

Re: David Moyes will have zero transfer budget C&P
Sullivan and Gold are estimated to be worth something like £1,350 million combined. Yet mysteriously the club never seems to have any money for transfers.

They are a pair of parasitic, cheapskate, charlatan spiv cunts.

How many more times does it have to be spelt out - THEY ARE TAKING THE FUCKING PISS!!

Oh no, I forgot, people are still going to go for the social side of things.

Remember, you're not allowed to see your mates unless it's at West Ham
